Education at All Saints
All Saints Lutheran Church provides opportunities for Christian
education for all ages. The purpose of education is to help persons grow
in their faith and connect principles to their daily lives. Members, non-members
and interested persons are invited to the many Christian Education classes
and programs at All Saints. .
Sunday School - For ages 3 through grade 12 gather at 9:30 Sunday
morning. An emphasis is made to teach in the classroom each week the biblical
lessons that are heard in the worship service. See Carol Swenson or Kimberlee Vega
for more information or call All Saints at 651-452-7256.
Adult Forum - Pastor Charles Trittin teaches an adult forum at
9:40 on Sunday morning.
Confirmation - For grades 7 and 8 is offered at 6:00p.m.on Wednesday
evenings for 7th graders and at 8:00p.m. for 8th graders. The classes
are balanced between biblical and catechetical instruction and relationship
building with the youth. Following their instruction students are confirmed
with the Service of Affirmation of Baptism in the fall of their freshman
year. (Contact Pastor Charles Trittin with question or inquiries, 651-452-7256.)
Vacation Bible School - Is offered the last full week of July with
leadership provided by counselors from Okoboji Lutheran Bible Camp. VBS
is a week of fun, friendship, bible stories, games, and crafts. Ages 4,
5 and Pre-K gather at church and also participate in field trips.
Children going into grade 1 6 are with the Okoboji counselors at
church. Those entering grade 7 and 8 enjoy a week of off-site fun and
service project adventures. Volunteers are always needed for
supervision, snacks and planning.
