Announcements YOUTH SERVICE - Mother’s Day is here and so it the Youth Service! All High School youth are invited to participate in the youth service on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 9th, at both the 8:30 and 10:30 services. We will be planning this event during Sunday School hours. We need youth for communion assistance, assisting minister, acolyte, ushers, lectors and both youth and adult sermons. NEW MEMBERS - New members are always welcome at All Saints. If you are interested in joining All Saints, please contact the church office or Pastor Trittin at 651-452-7256. A new member gathering will be held Thursday, May 13 at 7 p.m. This gathering is a way for new members and current members of our congregation to meet and get to know one another. New members will be received on Sunday May 16 at both services. GARDEN PLANTING = On Saturday, May 22nd we will be planting the garden around our new sign. If you've have a green thumb (and even if you don't) we need your help. We will start planting about 9:00 AM. GRADUATION CELEBRATION -- Sunday, June 6th. Do you have a graduate in your family or know of someone graduating this year from high school, college, or other programs? The Living Together Leadership Team is starting to collect names, information about the graduates, and their pictures for a display. Please leave information in the church office, click here to send info, or contact Sherry Wood with questions. OPEN SPOTS - There are two open spots available on the Youthworks trip to costal Virginia this coming June. Youth presently in grades 8 through 12 are eligible to participate. If you know someone who might be interested, please contact Ann Weggeman, or the All Saints office at 651-452-7256 GERTENS GIFT CARDS - This year our Youthworks trip participants will be selling Gertens gift cards on the following Sundays: May 2, May 9, lay 16, and May 23. You can purchase yours on those dates, or contact Ann Weggemann or the church office at 651-452-7256 . These are always popular gift ideas for Mother's Day, Father's lay, Birthdays, or anytime. Please consider helping the Youthworks kids out by purchasing your Gertens gift cards! . CHEW CHEW EXPRESS - Thanks to the Sunday School students and parents who contributed over 90 items to the Community Action Counsel Food Shelf. DO YOU LIKE COFFEE? - If so, please consider helping us out with late service hospitality. We are down to two volunteers and may have to discontinue late service hospitality. It's a fun and easy job, but every other week is a little too much. The coffee is already made, so it's a matter of making more Kool-aid and laying out cookies, which are provided, and cleaning up afterwards. If you can help out, please let Nancy or Rachel know, or volunteer on line. Thanks! SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER APPRECIATION - On Sunday, May 2nd the Living in Faith Leadership team will host a coffee party (9:00 - 10:30am) for the teachers and assistants to thank them for their hard work and dedication to our youth. Storyteller, Mike Mann, will entertain the children during the regular Sunday School hour. Teachers and assistants, please join us for coffee and treats. We would especially like to thank :Carol Swenson, Kimberly Vega and Cindy Johnson for serving as our Coordinators this year. We appreciate all you do! ADULT FORUM - is at 9:40a.m. in the sanctuary. Please join us. WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY: Join the Thursday evening women's bible study for a book club format Our next meeting is May 13th. We will be reading a new fiction book which expands on the story of Esther. Hadassah: One Night with the King by Tommy Tenney and Mark Andrew Olsen promises to be a gripping drama which is both a thriller and a memoir. Our group will discuss the first half of the book in April. If you would like us to order a copy for you (about $14), or if you have questions, please contact Nancy Burns or the church office at (651) 452-7256.
